My screws are killing me.

You shouldn't have a problem getting Sue some lovely, homegrown sheepskin lined boots, eh Denzil?  I'm sure she'd appreciate them, especially with the lanolin and all.

Well I'm getting all kinds of great advice today. Sheepskin lined boots from Denzil and toe warming work-outs on my laptop from Roy. Of course my big toe won't budge at the moment, a few more weeks and the Doctor will want me to twist it back and forth and cause me pain again, but I guess it has to be done.

I went to the Doctor's yesterday hoping that he would take me out of the boot and into the orthopedic shoe, but instead he got sick and went home. His next trip to our town is January 7th. Like I'm going to wear the boot for another month. I don't think so!

If the snow storm forecast for the weekend and next week doesn't arrive, I will be driving the two hours to his practice in the next town over, it will be worth it to get out of this boot.
