Talking to a patient today. He told me a story from when he'd had a massive heart attack, and gone into cardiac arrest.

He told me after he had come round he was visited by a few people, all of whom had suffered the same thing. They asked him what he'd seen.

He told me what he'd told them.

He remembers heading up a tunnel, at the end of the tunnel was a man, sitting on a big wooden chair, behind a desk, on the desk was a huge 'book'. On seeing him approach, the man at the desk announced his full name, turned a page in the book and told him 'your to early!! you have to go back!'  at this he was lead back through the tunnel, and into a curtain. As he walked through the curtain he found himself awake in the hospital.

All the people that had visited him after to ask what he'd seen, had seen very similar things!

My mom had a similiar experience. She said she passed thru a tunnel and saw her loved ones who had passed but she asked if she could go back. She wasn't ready to stay because she wanted to see my girls grow up and next thing she knows...she's back.  She said it was a very beautiful thing and now has no fear of dying.

I have a book called Life After Life by Raymond Moody..I think!! Very interesting!

And yet when I hear of all the good stories, I am still terrified of dying.

Is it their energy you still feel? And can you feel a difference if they have passed?

I haven't got a story about ''afterlife'' but many residents who are dying..I mean only a few days left, see friends and family who have died...normally standing at the end of their beds, I think its so comforting, if not a little spooky, normally hairs stand up on end!

Also when new residents go into rooms where someone has died in recently, a few have seen the people who have died... they are telling them to get out of their bedroom!!!
