They just want to drip all the time. Never had this happen before. Thank goodness it isn't green. I may have solved the problem, I searched the internet and an article said when your eyes are too dry, they will sometimes run. That surprised me. So I got some artificial tears over the counter at the drugstore, and darned if it didn't stop. They kept giving me antihistamines, and they didn't do anything. Lately I discovered our humidifier was not working properly. My husband knew about it, but did not tell me. The barometer was running way low. So after I (talked) to him about it, he worked on it and got it to running properly again. I really believe my eyes were dryed out and that was making them run. Sounds strange doesn't it, but it worked. If I was you and had green stuff in my eyes though, I would go to the eye doctor. Mary Jo

The eyes are no longer runinng green, but the nose is a bit. It was just a common cold, and I'm at the tail end, thank goodness.. You're all so good to be giving me advice in Dr. Denzil's thread. Mary Jo, I do have problems with runny eyes (not green) and living in Desert Nevada I think you may have something. I just put it down to allergies, but I may very well have this dry eye condition, and I think I will look into getting a humidifier. Thank you so much for telling me about this. |
