I love the mushy pea story Rick! Terry has a similar one but not at Christmas about a bottle of tomato sauce that he shook, the top came off and left a sauce line all across his Dad's face!

I've loved all these stories - might be some new ones to add after tomorrow!

Just remembered one - about 3 years ago Terry opened his Christmas present from his then 80 year old mother and she had bought him a red Santa thong, hat and beard! He said it just didn't seem right!!!!! We will miss her great humour this 1st Christmas without her.

I love all the funny storeys up here, I can’t think of any myself, maybe I haven’t had any or more than likely I have just blocked them out of my mind for my own sanity. This Christmas could be funny when nothing gets done because I spent all Christmas eve on poe instead of doing the million things I have to do.

LOL! No, Ruth, that wasn't Bobo, it was my uncle Jim who is married to my mother's sister. But a true story never-the-less. Laughing

Can't think of to many things for Christmas in general...though one time when we were kids, mother had boughten some kind of expensive butter to serve with dinner, and my sister was carrying it across the floor and started to slip on something, and we all yelled..".Don't drop the butter"..so she did an complete flip flop in the air and came down, with the butter right side up the entire time. Whew!!!... It was an close one!

We had a pretty good time on Christmas making fools of ourselves with Wii bowling.  My brother-in-law and sister-in-law's 24 year old son bought them a Wii.

We love our Wii Ruth! Terry had it for his 25 year present from work before everything there went "belly up". We bought ourselves the Wii fit for Christmas and I need it after all the food I've eaten! We have family ski and the boys got my 75 year old Mom on it. She said she felt like she had been down the slopes and she went into a snow drift!

Another Christmas related funny moment. Joseph was doing an RE project for school about pilgrimage to Israel. We were talking about modern day Bethlehem and I was telling him that there were 65 hotels in Bethlehem and he said "And who can believe it - Mary and Joseph could not get into any of them and still ended up in the stable!"
