Hi Ruth. Yes, the wife had a camera that used them. Too many years ago to even try to remember now. Lol How about the flash bulbs? Remember them? I once burned my fingers trying to remove one when rushing to take the next photo. Always used a hanky after. Its not easy using a camera with blistered fingers.

I had a brownie too, when I was a kid.  I still remember it - you held it at waist level and looked down into the view finder. 

Oh I had one of them as well. My first camera. Later I had a Brownie with a close up lens, probably the first to be made. You pulled a lever on the side and it slid a close up lens into position. Completely useless of course.Because the viewfinder was so blurry, you couldnt see if you were looking at what you wanted to take properly. Only ran one film through it.
