And a Happy New Year to you too Ruth.  Yes, we do have the odd one here and there as you've been to yourself, of course, as on your own nice photos of them. Was planning on some newer Winchester ones while wandering around the Broadway.

The odd one here and there, lol. I think the 12th Century was boom time over there.

Well, it looks like if I'm not taking down decorations I'll be in the mists of  England with the newest books I have to read, with the templar knights and trying to find an old monk that claimed to be one, with this book author...and book I just bought today, already on page 20, then it's my yearly Valentine's "Romance" or "Romance mystery novel" Each one sounds seductive in their own way. Probably listen to part 2 on "coast to coast" tonight, covering 2009 predictions. You would think that "Romance" would come out of France, but most of these books take place in England, or Scotland, or out with the Indians/froniters in the USA, in the past era's for some reason...or else they are modern marvels all to themselves. Smiles* I would dearly love to have an good glass of wine, or an good stiff drink at midnight, but my pills I take say no drinking and they REALLY  mean it too!  Maybe someday?..who knows. I can remeber when I was younger, and "thee" supervisor and people were all over me with their problems and I'd come home, take half an shot of Jack Daniel's and say "next"...and go at it for another 8 hours of people's problems/activites. No more I guess you know...so have an nice New Year's evening for me!!..but leave out the problem solving for others..at least for one night, just enjoy yourself.

I forgot to have a drink tonight, Shirley, but I'll have one tomorrow, just for you.  Happy New Year and enjoy your books.

We usually eat black eyed peas on New Years Day.
