Here's a news clip with video (click on the one called Miracle Landing in the Pacific) of a similar incident in 1956 involving a Pan Am flight from Hawaii to San Francisco. At the end of the video twin women are briefly interviewed, Maureen and Elizabeth Gordon. They were 18 months old at the time and were on the flight with their mother. Maureen, the one on the left, is a co-worker/friend of mine. |
