Eating the tongue and brains of a wild rabbit that my dad had shot during the 1950's. As kids we would argue over who would get the brains, and who would get the tongue. Nothing was wasted! We would also steal the boiled up potatoes that were mean't for the chickens before the bran was added! The good old days eh?

My mum loved pigs trotters (feet). You can buy them jellied now, but they used to get them right after the pig was butchered in the back garden.

We had a meat hook in our kitchen, where the pig would hang after it had been bled.

OK, whose for a bit of lunch?

Despite the age of this post I just thought I would add something. Diana is in the majority of people in Britain who would never want to swim or sunbathe in the nude but have no problem with others so doing, including their gardens. I respect peoples' views which is a very British way to be.  We are, by and large, a tolerant nation.
