I had an girfriend whose hubby is an Portland Fire Inspector, and her two son's are firemen now, and she use to volunteer at the Burn Unit at Providence Hosptial, she was telling us that they use "pig fat" to cover badly burned people, until they can grow back their own fat and skin...natually is all sanitized also. then they go in for the plastic surgery afterwards and skin transplants. I'm sure with cell stem research much of this stuff is changing these days though. |
