Repeat all over your head to stimulate blood flow to the scalp, easing the headache immediately. |

I have some surgical thread left under my skin from my recent surgery, The other day I asked my Doctor if I could use a bread poultice to draw it out, and he said no. So I still don't know if it works or not, but my mum swore by it for splinters and infections. |

If it don't work, try it on the bread up above?.... My dad use to use vinegar on his sunburns to stop from peeling skin. But then he use to give us an small shot of whiskey and honey for an cold also...gesh, first time I remember that..it was AWFUL to say the least, burned all the way going down my throat...I thought he was trying to kill me, not cure me. In the days of James Dean and "Elvis" and all cotton jeans, how many gals remember buying jeans and then sitting in warm water and wearing them to dry to shrink to your body for an perfit "fit"?..or is it still being done these days also. |

Using butter, lotion or any kind of grease covers the burn and holds in the heat causing more pain. You should run it under cool water or lay a cloth with cold water on it. No rubbing or you could lose your skin. |

Putting a spoon in your mouth stops you eyes water when chopping onions. (I've not yet tried this at work for fear of looking really stupid!) |
