Talk about a nightmare!

On his very first skydive and strapped to his instructor who was dying of a heart attack a few thousand feet from the ground, a young soldier found himself floating toward a house and some trees.

Fortunately, the military taught the 25-year old not to panic. So, he managed to land safely in a field about a third of a mile from their intended landing spot where the poor instructor was pronounced dead.

Can you imagine???!!!

Its kind of funny in a sick way!!  i can just imagine been really scared and them trying to calm you down, saying, don't worry you'll be strapped to the instructor throughout!!  he's done many jumps and lands perfectly everytime, its safer than crossing the road, just follow what the instructor tells you   etc etc...

oops!! Surprised

I bet he was relieved when that parachute opened opened up properly!!!

Reminds me of how the enemy would tie a captured soldier to a dead comrade (usually face to face). Not a pleasant thing at all.

I hope the poor soldier doesn't suffer too much PTS.
