The one thing I was not willing to give up (until now) was my once weekly visit to the local bookstore where I would sit in the cafe enjoying a latte and reading a book. |

I've given up everything else...new clothes, manicures, magazines, books, newspapers, new car, going out to eat, going to the movies, sports, plays, concerts...pretty much everything! Thank god for yard sales!!! I depend on them!! |

A few years ago, my co-workers and I figured that the cost of our morning coffee and bagel came to $780.00 dollars a year, each!!! I was appalled. |

I would not give up my disposable contact lenses! I kept them last time I was unemployed!!! I don't spend much really - I hate buying clothes, I have 1 haircut a year, I don't eat out or have takeaways because of my wheat allergy, my phone and internet is paid by the business. I have cut down buying things for the boys though - I tended to buy them something when we went out so I have limited that to birthdays and Christmas (Mrs Scrooge!!) |
