From what I gather, there has never been a man in these children's lives at all. It also may be a great ploy to get a big new house, as seen weekly on that Ty Pennington show (I think it's called Extreme makeover hose or something). As for her getting death threats, that is just plain irresponsible and evil. The woman needs help, and the children certainly don't need to be punished for the sins of those who allowed this to happen. |

Apparently, she's unemployed due to a back injury she suffered at her job at -- get this -- a psychiatric hospital. Hmmm. Maybe she needs to check herself in for a wee chat. She also has said that she plans to return to university to get her Masters degree and will use student loans to pay for the children's expenses. Since when can you do that? My daughter gets student loans to pay for her college tuition, books, etc., and they are very specific about what that money can be used for. Simply appalling. |

I doubt she has the intelligience to do anything worthwhile on her own...I guess I shouldn't say that, she's smart enough to make an living off others...something most of us can't manage to do...and I do beleive ohers take us for an ride and think we are "stupid" when they can get away with it. |

Excuse me, but I don't think having children is a right, I think it's a sacred trust that comes with heavy responsibility. That responsibility starts with determining whether you are to ready psychologically, emotionally, and financially to have children in the first place. We have fostered a system that teaches people to do as they will with little or no regard for the consequences. It's all about "rights"...my right to this and my right to that. What ever happened to personal responsibility? One Los Angeles Times columnist reporting on the situation called Suleman's story "grotesque." I couldn't have said it better. |

What's up with that? Someone with whom she has agreed to split any welfare payments or contribution of monies she receives? |
