I just got an email earlier from my friend in North Caorlina, whose trying to revive her husbands band ION BRITTON, and tjey have been going up and down the east coast palying gigs over the weekend and seh said, she was getting so tired...I wrote her back and I told her that when they get "Good and Rich" ..(Goodrich)..maybe she won't be so "tired" feeling.. Some of her kids are now in the revival of band activities. They are on goggle for anyone like to see more about them. My nephew Chris, is an high school math teacher you know, we were talking about his wearing suits to work, in which he said , he disliked them, especially the neck tie, as most guys do, and wore more dress slacks with sweaters...his mother gave me one of his church music tapes he had made as an back-up volcalist to another guy, and so it was, I thought I'd send him an little something for Christmas this year to be nice and repay him for this album....amoung others things tucked into this all is two (very nice) Christmas ties, "I have to send him an note that says.....Couldn't help myself!....smiles*.... As long as he doesn't tell Santa Claus, heh? |

Aaron has got a friend round tonight - he is a lovely 9 year old lad but is a bit of a handful always ends up getting into all sorts of fixes - ie. his parents had to call the fire brigade once when he crawled out on scaffolding! After a complete manic hour just when myself & Terry are nearly pulling our hair out Solomon was getting upset about wanting to play a Wii game and Aaron's friend said "Please Sol - let me play the game with Aaron because I'll probably never be allowed to come to your house ever again!!!" |

She said to the boys that they must not leave a glass of brandy for Santa because of the drink driving laws. Aaron said "That's OK - we'll leave him a bottle and then he can take it with him to drink at home!" |

Another gem from my resident little comedians - The boys were all watching Ice Age 2 and Solomon was hiding his face and getting upset when the cartoon characters appeared to be in "mortal" danger. Aaron said "Don't worry Sol - of course they survive - they made Ice Age 3 didn't they?!"
