A link used as a reference point is acceptable provided it falls within the title 'family friendly'. Of course Chris and Sarah reserve the right to remove anything that they, or the moderators for that matter, consider not appropriate or overly selling another product and/or website. The reason is simple, apart from the spamming factor that is, POE as with other websites needs continuing financial support and intends shortly to allow advertising on the site for a nominal fee. This will, along with continued donantions received from the membership, help to keep this wonderful website afloat for us all. |

This would also help POE! I will start a new thread shortly regarding advertising on POE and the nominal fee referred to, so that we can get the ball rolling so to speak whilst waiting for Chris and Sarah to make the changes proper. |

Would you like me to remove the link to my picture? I wont be offended or annoyed! |

If you go to the 'Announcements' thread on the front page you will see that I have clarified the position re business advertising for those who wish to set up an annual account. They can submit as many pictures as they wish for a one off payment of £50 and continue to add to it during the account year. I think its fantastic value and allows all manner of small business to get their message home on what is clearly one of the biggest websites on the net with something in excess of 130,000 pages! And we all see the pictures don't we? I will look at the link you submitted in your initial post Barb, just out of curiosity. Remember, that POE has to remain family friendly and you can't go wrong. |

. It's just an animation site for a bit of fun. That link just shows an animation I made of myself. I'm not deliberately advertising them, but if it were to damage POE in any way, I'm happy for it to go. |
