Hi Rick and other dear POE friends (from the welcome Adie thread). Yeah all is well this end. Returned from hospital late yesterday after they told me that I am suffering from Dercums disease! Not as bad as it seems, basically means painful lipomas (harmless fat lumps under the skin) that have to be controlled with a bigger dose of morphine. They have cleared all other nasties so I guess I am fortunate, just very painful.

Ron, I am glad to read that it is nothing more serious; still, I am sorry that you are in such discomfort. Is it curable or just manageable?

Hi Diana, Krissy, Rick, Jason, Ron - think that's everyone!

Sorry to here that Ron - pain is awful to contend with. Glad they have found they are harmless though.

Glad it arrived and you like it Diana!

Krissy, Sue, Ruth, Rick and Nela should be getting one too. Don't think I missed anyone off my mailing list there but I'm a bit thick today! They have upped my tablets though so I'm hoping to be feeling clearer thinking soon!!! (thyroxine that is - just in case anyone was wondering!).

Got to go now - just a brief hello today!

Hoping Aaron is back at school tomorrow - he's had mesenteric adonitis and tonsilitis again!

Hi again friends, it's apparently manageable with pain killers, although not yet!!! Need to get the doseage right.

Don't over do it with the pain killers, Ron...wouldn't want Anna having to tie you down with a rope. Wink
