Hi Rick and other dear POE friends (from the welcome Adie thread). Yeah all is well this end. Returned from hospital late yesterday after they told me that I am suffering from Dercums disease! Not as bad as it seems, basically means painful lipomas (harmless fat lumps under the skin) that have to be controlled with a bigger dose of morphine. They have cleared all other nasties so I guess I am fortunate, just very painful.

OUCH!!! Hope things improve there Ron. Kiss

I had to call my specialist today..day two of diarehea..everything is watery and has been since yesterday..day 6 of the grandaughter home also..grandson still sick..other one finally made it back to school after day five of missing school. I am so "@am" bitchy when I get sick these days. Ron I've had an lump on my arm for years now from when my hubby got angry at me for making the garage into an bedroom for the kids, and he let some shelving drop on my foot and I thought I broke it, and  some of the shelving I caught.. but it was so heavy it pushed up the fat into an lump getting to my elbow area on my arm..it's not really noticable unless you feel the lump there..I had it checked out,,doctor says its not harmful there as it is. he liked to let me die anyway..but other then that. Lupus is an immune disease...they aren't sure what causes it apparently from what I've read, I know an gal "Tananna"..not sure how that is spelled. I saw her daughter an couple of weeks ago..her father took her son, her sister took her daughter...and she remarried and has another son..of which her hubby takes care of him...she went back to college and got an really good paying job though. She has an violent family though...and one associated with "drugs"...they are far from impoverished people. She's always been searching for an place where she can be at "peace" most the time...for that very reason.  Have never heard of Dercums disease, I'll have to ask her about it if I ever see her again. I do have an cousin 'Mary" that reminds me a lot of the gal above back east...I'm thinking she was the one in the car accident that had her leg bone to her hip/ankle replaced. I understand she came through it with no problems. Her mom and dad, they never fought, except when he drank, which he did rarely..and my aunt I understand threw an piece of dynamite at him one time. He worked for an cement company..but his wife is now dead...maybe he is also. But good stanch VFW people, when an woman's had enough, she's had enough!  She never tolerated drinkingpartying. she was the talk of the family for an bit, as this dynamite took out their garage...I guess it wasn't to big of an stick of it though...so much for small mid-western towns. I don't hear much from them, they grew up back there an we grew up out here...so goes.

Hope you feel better soon Shirley. Know how you feel - I have two out of three children home today - one with a runny tummy, the other with mesenteric adonitis.

Just realised I missed you off the list Cathy - I sent you a postcard too!
