Diana Sinclair Posts: 10119 Joined: 3rd Apr 2008 Location: USA	quotePosted at 17:45 on 18th March 2009 My youngest sister (Josie) was rushed to the hospital last night for what the doctors thought was going to be an emergency appendectomy, however, a cat scan revealed that her appendix is fine. The long and short of it is that they don't have a clue what is wrong with her, but the pain is so intense that they have her on a morphine drip. They are talking about exploratory surgery now. I was with her until midnight last night. My other sister is with her today and I'll be going back after work. May I ask every one for their prayers that my sister be okay and back to normal soon? I do hope it all works out for her Diana. Just a silly suggestion really but have they thought of mesenteric adenitis - Aaron was rushed in with a suspected appendicitis 2 years ago and the pain was just as intense and very close to the appendix area. For what it might be worth, my friend Sharon went to the hospital a couple of weeks ago with severe abdominal cramps and they discovered an intestinal abscess. They had to remove a section of her small intestine and do a colostomy. She is recovering slowing but surely and has been able to come to church. My favourite: Pictures \| Towns \| Attractions
