A good idea, but kids feet grow in width too, not just length. I wonder what the parents on POE think of this?

I have to watch the video again and listen more closely but from the looks of it, it seems to make sense!!!  Erin blows thru shoes every month now!! And good shoes are very expensive and if they only last a month then why bother!?

My boys wear out the shoes before their feet grow so I end up having to change them anyway! Joe's been a size 3 (36) for 2 years!

I've been doing the insole thing for an long time now... only with socks. I have two kinds of shoes, althletic type that are bigger.. that I wear men's hunting socks with, because when I'm walking I need the warmth, and sandels, then I bought some specialty insoles for "exact" fit when I want to use the atheltic shoes without heavy socks...they were something like $12 and will fit any shoes I want to put them in.  I've had those about 3 years now. Had both shoes about that long also. then I have my "other" shoes, mostly flats or dress shoes. As for thekids, they usually get sandels, scholl shoes, and some kind of waterproof shoes to run around in. The boys are no problem, the bigger one gives his extra shoes to the younger one if he don't wear them to much. My grandaughter is getting up into wearing her mother's clothes now also. She isnt' developed in the chest yet, to young, but they still fit her in being an little bigger.. but she likes them that way also. Some things she can wear,, others she can't.

I wish they would make shoes to fit your feet. Not these pointy things! I've always had very wide feet. Can't find shoes anywhere! I wear more than a 4E width!

Cathy, my sister, Ronda, has the same issue. Her feet are short and very wide so she has a devil of a time trying to find shoes that fit her. It seems that if they are the right length then they don't fit width wise, and if they fit width wise then they are too long! Poor things!
