Well here in Liverpool the 'famous' Grand National horse racing is on this weekend. I don't personally bet on it as I feel it is a terrible race. Beecher's Brook is far too high a jump for for very tired horses (it's a long race) Lots of poor horses have died over the years as a result of taking part in this race. I hate it! Cry

Also, we have another Egg run in Crosby. I'm taking part in that. It benefits orphaned kids. Kiss

We are having a big surprise birthday party for my husband's mum, who turns 80. Children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren are coming in from all over the U.S.A. It's going to be so good!

Gem and Rock show out at the college I live near...and the 40 acre fields near Woodburn, Oregon are in full bloom, Farmer's markets are opening this weekend also with new litttle plants for this year.  I need to spend the time this weekend indeed replanting and getting things ready to plant. We might have two days of semi-decent weather before going back to rain..all this rain has seen my tyriglcerides shoot back up double what they were, if I dont' change it, I'm headed for some more serious heart problems. Excerise it the number one prime way to lower them, besides no sugar, few carbohydrates. Myseld, I think it's from no excerise while I was sick and my household over last month. May not see me as much here as I work on it. I haveto get back to at LEAST.. one mile every day.

My eyes watered watching them kids getting their easter eggs off us!  It was a great day. Bless them all. And guess who has her mug shot in the local paper then? Sealed
