Musk by Coty (or Jovan) and BRUT by Faberge (which I have not smelt in years) take me right back to the early 70's. Coaltar soap, back to my childhood. I can't believe my mum made me use that stuff. TCP takes me back to when I had my ears pierced, and I must have used a bottle of it when they started going a bit red. |

Sweet tobacco smoke!! i know it sounds bad, but it always reminds me of my great uncle hal!! As Ray, i lovethe smell of fresh mown grass! reminds me of summers! Burning rubber, nitromethane, hot dust, and burger vans! always remind me of going drag racing at Santa Pod as a kid!! with my Dad and his mates, in BIG custom cars with huge engines!! good days!! |

I knew an gal use to buy an new pair of shoes everytime she had an new boyfriend, sometimes she'd make them pay for them, she has an huge closet full of shoes Ray...something to be aware of maybe. I like fresh lawns mowed, I'll agree with you in that one, but I always like my mother making homemade Grape Jelly also, or Apple pie, or Roast Beef dinners...and for posies..Lilac's, Hycinthe, Roses.....I like breakfast cooking out in the woods "camping"also something about the bacon I think...rain, when i ffirst starts in an hot summertime, line dried clothing. |

When I lived in New Mexico, every September/October I remember the smell of chiles roasting all over the city (Albuquerque) along with the smell of burning firewood. Heavenly! Bed linens that were hung outside to dry in the sunshine remind me of summers as a child.
