I don't cry easily during movies but the last one I can remember that really made me break down and weep was "Wit" with Emma Thompson.  That one just tore the heart right out of me!

I try not to watch sad movies but we did watch The green mile on tv the other night and that one always makes me cry so sad...

 Weeping is easy for me, as is laughter... so any shade of sadness brings welcome tears...'Out of Africa' seems to be the most resonant story for me to identify with a woman's loss, longing and heartbreak.

It's not a movie, per se, but a mini series I watched on DVD, and that was Cranford.

All of my favourite characters died, and I wept every time.
