What's this about turning down a date them, Diana?

I tried to find the original post from few days ago but I can't remember what thread I was on. LOL!!! Is it my age catching up with me or what? Wink

Seriously Sue, you are so lucky to have found yourself a good man and to have had him all these years. I have decided that dating is like chicken pox...the older you are the worse it is. LOL!!!  There are millions of articles about how women should "take care" of themselves so as to appear beautiful to the male sex, but honestly, if you could see the majority of over 40 men who ask me out...!!!!

The case aunt Miya is referring to is a man who emailed me a few days or so ago. His descriptors were something a cave man would aspire to, and his picture showed his belly peeking out between his tee shirt and his jeans which dipped down the back to reveal his plumbers crack, he was unshaven, and holding a beer can, and I am pretty sure his teeth hadn't been brushed in a decade. You could almost smell his breath!

Anyway, long story short, in his profile he said that he was looking for a woman who "took care of herself" was "fit" and at least a "10"...and he expected her to stay that way. I kid you not, he actually said that!  In his email to me he said that it must be my lucky day because he was sure he was just the man for me. ROFLMAO!!!!! After I picked myself up off the floor from laughing I emailed him a simple, thanks but I don't think we are a good match.

But I have to tell you the email I got this morning!  It was from a man in New Hampshire who said that he is looking for a second "biblical wife" if only I would change my mind about not wanting children, because he wants lots of them. His pictures included his current wife and their three young children who all looked to be still in diapers!

It's hard out there Sue!!! LOL!!!! Laughing

I think you're looking in the wrong place Diana. Those two examples are enough to scare a person single for life.

I do realize how blessed I am, and don't take it for granted.

I wish you all the best in your search for a good man.

I knew you were going to say that, Miya.

Diana, that sounds truly scary.  I think the extreme Fundamentalist LDS church that we have here in Arizona refers to their multiple wives as biblical wives.
