During sailing season I get plenty of exercise. Otherwise, I go to the gym at least 4 days a week.

I get up at 5 AM and walk three miles. I like to walk in the dark, and have been known to get up at 4 during the summer months.

I love to swim, but really can't afford it at the moment.

Of course to our American and Canadian members a fag is something a little different than what it means in England. So Karen, I congratulate you on giving up the fags/cigarettes, you'll never look back.

And I too like to ride my bike   , but the season for doing that here in the desert (for me) is very short. I can't ride my bike when it's 110 F outside.

Ha ha ha, I keep forgetting about the "fag"thing.  It sounds awful though so I will call them cigarettes in future.

I'm a member of a swimming club which gives me needed exercise. In the summer we are also members of a club which boasts an outdoor (unheated!) pool which is great and certainly leaves me feeling refreshed. My Nikon takes me for walks but long hikes are out right now as I have a bad left knee which will be sorted out over the next few months. I used to be a keen cyclist but excess traffic on our roads and inertia made history of that hobby. I keep my fingers nimble with Photoshop!
