We were frantic and after turning the house inside out and not finding him, we spent a good 45 minutes walking up and down the street looking. Finally we went back in the house and I just happened to look up towards the ceiling as I walked between the bedrooms; there he was his paws hanging off each side of the door just looking down at us all acting like idiots running around calling his name! |

He was sitting on the porch when we got home, bleeding but he was wagging his tail as always!!!! My stepdad removed all the buck shot from the area at home with tweezers and the dog never flinched or growled during the process!!! I loved that dog!!! Diana...cats are funny aren't they. I think they are loads smarter that us!!! |

When I was 15 he had been unwell and Mom was giving him watered down brandy. He looked very poorly so I gave him some brandy not knowing Mom had watered it down - I gave it neat. He looked a bit wobbly and when my parents came home they commented on this and I said what I had done. It was a tense few hours but he pulled completely round and lived another 2 years dying at the ripe old age of 14! |

He always kept them indoors, but one day they were out, and they attacked me, biting at my neck. I had about three papers, which I pulled up to protect myself. The papers were ripped to shreds, but my neck, and my life saved. I have been scared of dogs ever since. |

I was walking in the park with my toddler cousin - I was about 13 and he was 2. My uncle was just ahead. The kennel club were exercising their dogs in the park and the dogs formed a pack around us. They were biting by hands while I was trying to protect Adam who was clinging to me. My uncle scared them off and shouted at the owners. I am also still scared of dogs. |

It was awful and we thought we'd lost her for ever. Then on the morning of the 12th day there was a tiny miaow at the back door and there she was! She was thin, dirty and very hungry but she still gave us the effusive welcome that is typical of her. To this day, we don't know what happened to her but we think she had been shut in a shed or garage somewhere! |
