I think I was about three and I remember sneaking out of bed and hiding behind my the chair where my grandmother sat watching the late show with Johnny Carson.  I was hiding because I wanted to say goodnight to my grandfather who worked second shift at the post office and didn't get home until midnight.  When he came in the front door I surprised both of them when I sprang out from behind the chair laughing as I ran to greet him.  As I was running to him my diaper feel down around my knees but before I could fall face first onto the carpet my papa reached out and scooped me up laughing all the while. My grandmother laughed too. Laughing

Being in the hospital when I was nearly two years old. I had surgery on my belly button!!! I remember wanting the toast of the boy that was in the crib next to me and my mom said "No, you can't have his toast! He was hit by a car!!!"  and I remember the windows and the giant stuffed pink poodle that my dad's coworkers gave me!!!!

Probably about three also, dad use to let me sit on his lap while he drove, I'd get car sick in the backseat of those old high rise cars, and we were going across the Sandy River on the bridge and I shut off the car lights,  did I ever get an talking to...I remeber Tex iters "High Noon" song was palying at the time, it left me with an "fear" going over that bridge. even today I don' t like going over it.
