I loved all the stories about Winnie the Pooh!

As I got older I loved "Stuart Little" and "The Trumpet of the Swan" both by E.B. White. I hated "Charlotte's Web" though...I didn't like spiders back then either! LOL!

Also, "The Happy Prince" by Oscar Wilde was a favorite and still is. I still cry when I read that one!

Between the ages of 12 - 16 The Little House on the Prairie books by Laura Ingalls Wilder were my favorites. I read and re-read them dozens of times.

Do you go back now as an adult and read the books you read when you were younger!!?? I do and funny how your perspective changes now that I am an adult!

I do Krissy!  Some of them I wonder what I ever saw in it and others I enjoy just as much but differently. If you know what I mean? Undecided  I am thinking specifically of the Little House Books; when I was reading them as a youngster I found comfort in pretending to be part of that family where love and nurturing were so evident.  As an adult I marvel at the simplicity of times gone by. In some ways I wish we could be like that again.

Flannelfeet! It was a story about a little girl who put her toy squeeky duck in the river! I still have the book!

When I was older I loved the Little Women series and Anne of Green Gables.

My sister was mad on Famous Five and Secret Seven Sue - if I was a boy Jayne said I had to be named Julian after one of the characters!

As a teenager I had a part time job in the library - I bet you would have loved that Kriisy & Diana! It was a dream job and really well paid.
