It'll still spread whatever, you'll probably find the carriers are already at large!  it'll take its toll and die away again. Its a familiar pattern throughout history. Its not a fatal virus, but it can be to the weak and old, but hopefully most will survive if they contract it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sky_Is_Falling_(fable)

Origin

Although sometimes mistakenly listed as one of Aesop's Fables, the story actually originates from early African folktales, according to Joseph Holloway.[1] The basic motif and many of the elements of the tale can also be found in the Daddabha Jataka (J 322). The Jatakas comprise a large body of folklore dating from around Gautama Buddha's time (6th century BC) to the third century AD. However, this ancient version features a hare as the central character rather than a chicken, and the wise protagonist is a lion (the Bodhisattva or future Buddha).[2]

Krissy, I was just talking with a young mom in the village..about sorting out a contingency plan for day care for her school-age child. ( if the school is closed ) I told her about the N95 mask to get from the hardware store, in case her  (ill) clients come into her office.

Look up  CDC website for facts. Centre For Disease Control....Atlanta.

One case confirmed here in Oxford (Sandhills in fact) just 2 miles away! Gulp, umm, err, cough, sneeze! I think the main thing is not to be too worried but aware, and hope that the powers that be (surely he can do one thing right in Government cant he?) can produce a vaccine in time for when it comes back in the Autumn/Winter! Hope the little girl in Sandhills will be okay.
