I was going to college when it was the rave "hit" of the day. They think of my younger years as I guess the "Everly Brothers" when I was maybe 6 years old I guess you know. The Beattles came along in my early High School Days.by the time I was out of High School we were getting in to Mick Jagar Days a coming. I liked Neil Diamond an lot also back then...listening/sing along music. Then for an while I was incarnated into WEstern Music by others, and when my son was an tenagers, I was allowed to hear the more modern music again...Pink Floyd. then kind of went back and forth and my hearing has stopped me now on an lot of this stuff. I heard an doctor one time tell someone that the kindest thing they do to their bodies is forget the booze ..and go to the dancing. |

Yes, they made their mark didn't they, Shirley. Bur for odd names-----they were so-called because 1) none of them were named Doobie and 2) none of them were brothers, so it was a logical choice ! |

Babs J, we have some CDs of a few of the bands you mention. I am worried that for two 'old codgers' we have very strange musical tastes!! |
