Lawson Posts: 2310 Joined: 17th Jul 2008 Location: USA	Posted at 17:08 on 6th May 2009 She'll wish she was back there by the time this thunderstorm band comes through today, I'm seeing the entire west coast and south of me in one big band of yellow with reddish spots in it (usual rain is green) and my chest is tightening up on me, thinking about getting dressed and going to my cardio-excerise class early today. I won't be on the computer much from this also, they are expecting some of the same tomarrow also. This is really wild weather for us right now. This weather is taking down trees into apartment houses just from ground saturation so far, it's tipped over two sailboats on the Columbia River, the people were rescued by other boaters, and killed an guy in SW west Portland, set records of rain all over the place in 24 hours...and of course, I had the big straight from the sky downward to the ground lightening bolt about one block away taking out an transformer in the street that turned my hair an little whiter the other day, to see that kind of power/energy is awesome...and also reports of an tornado spotted, though it apparently never made ground. that is not your ususal weather here either. Good thing she's missing out on this by going to inside activites...she probably isn't hearing the thunder at all. My favourite: Pictures \| Towns \| Attractions
