My kids hate the sound of lightening and thunder, my mom loves it.
I hate the sounds of the sirens going off here in Oklahoma, cause right now our storm cellar is standing in 3 ft of water (5 days of rain)and needs repair. The next safest place is 7 blocks away, they don't realize if the old school building collapses, we all die. I get in the hallway, and pray real fast and real often to God
.
The sound of a trian blowing its horn late at night, and you can't remember if you already crossed the tracks, this happened to my mom, the red lights didn't work on the crossing.

and last the sound of a semi-truck, when you didn't realize you were in his way. I take the shoulder and let them have the road.
