What famous piece of art work would you most like to hang in your home?

Vincent Van Gogh: The Starry Night I bought a book for my daughter from The Easton Press, of his paintings and him for $129.00 on of my good investments.
I was in our community thrift store. Found the printing of the same The Starry Night. It's roughly 2 1/2 ft by 3 1/2 ft. big I know it is probably a print, of a print, of a printx5 how knows. But I thought it was fabulous. Bought it and the blue frame $8.00 they wanted to get rid of it. I was trying to control my excitment while buying it. $8.00 was all I had left, I was afraid they were going to jack up the price, if they saw my excitement.

I do have a queston, I had a painting gave to me once, it was a Phillip Shoemaker painting, on the back was in typed words on the painting paper itself, words about the painter, and about the painting itself. I believe it was called something "Autumn" I can't remember the complete title. My stupid ex- boyfriend, scratched the edge and messed up the corner of the painting, I was so furious I just angerly threw the whole thing frame and all in the garbage. I was sickened. I took it once to an art Gallery in Ft. Smith, Ark. The Italian elderly man, said it was worht nothing that he knew of, and acted like I was wasting his time, he was a very grumpy old man, who barely spoke english. I looked it up on the ebay, The closest I found was copies only worth $19.00 and down. Any clues on it. It probably wasn't worth much. or did I stupidly through money away? I know it had reds and greens and browns in it, it had a small fish type boat that had ores mabe on it or near it, that's all I can remember. I'd know it if I saw it.

Highland Hospitality is another favorite of mine. It would look great in a dinning room.
