David Sedaris! He is absolutely hysterical.Laughing

Also, a note I remember reading once from one room mate to another (written to the friend who had bad hygiene); it read: "You stink like a big fat stinker!"  The room mate who wrote the note had reached the end of her tether and I just thought the note was hysterical because it was so juvenile.

I think good comedy about the tibulations and trials of going from one day to the next, or "cleverness" also...I don't like remarks directly about other people though, esp rude ones, light teasing ones are Ok,... but not the rude ones..there's some guys out that describe cars...FORD=Fix Or Repair Daily..they went on to say this "elder" had his tipi in the trunk of his car...and the other one asked.. why?..and he said because he drove an "Pontiac" and he said, I don't understand?..the other one said..Poor-Old-Native-Tribesman-In-Auto-Club. I thought it was cute the way they had made the names of the cars, but there are other people just as funny on other subjects also. Who can forget Lucille Ball's day she made bread and it rose out of her oven and down the counter and into the living room...or when Phyliis Diller said her "oven" was so thick with "crud".. that the only thing she could make in it was "toasted" crutons, Or Lily Tomlin doing her telephone operator routine,. or even Benny Hill epsiodes. Red Skelton being an drunk, Carol Burnnette Show (Tim Conway) ..Johnny Carson..there have been many fine comedians through the years.

I 'm not much on knowing comedians except Jeff Foxworthy, (You might be a redneck) , Bill Cosby, and Robin Williams, are the ones that pop in my mind. But, our funny that get the kids and I tickled, is this: One night I was extremely fed up with them not listening to me, & it was bed time. I had let them play all day and destroy there room with toys, and just have fun, and we'd all clean it up the next day. Well, I knew they still needed time to unwind, so, I gave them an additional 20 minutes, to kind of calm down. I went in and told them lights out in 10 mins. "alright mom," they yell back at me. So, when it came time for bed, they were still wound. I finally had, had enough and told them, to settle down, or mommy would have to spank. 10 more minutes went by, and they were still cutting up, And I had already turned the light out. I, a little angry by this time, went in there kind of fast like. Told them last chance, next time was spanking, I swung around not thinking about the stupid door. When I turned around, I smacked into the door, smooth right between my eyes. Scared me and then embarrassed me, the kids got real quite. I turned and looked at them, and we all busted up laughing, and I said, "Yeah go ahead laugh at momma, stupid me, I'll admit it was pretty funny, huh?" So now all I have to do to get them laughing, or a big smile. Is take my hand and stick my hand sideways up to the middle of my glasses, (as if you were going to karate-chop me in the middle of my face) I do this and say "Bip" and we all start laughing all over again.
