I just saw this. Poor girl!! I wonder if she regrets her decision!  And will it get worse if she wins??

This sort of thing comes with the territory, she must know that and be prepared.

I don't think the hullabaloo will last long for her though, she has talent, for sure, but I don't think it's something that will carry her far.

Just my opinion.

I think as long as it short lived, she'll be OK....stardom is always looking for an "story" to tell, and sometimes they make them if if needs to be.... for publicity.

Yes, her voice can carry her, if she can find that special "nick" otherwise. She would make an good "Kate Smith" of today, but we don't have the family shows like we use to have such as Ed Sullivan, Perry Como, Andy Williams, etc. Guess we will have to wait and see.

I heard her singing on something the other day (I think it was the news, so maybe her latest performance on that English show), and her voice was not as controlled. She was very nervous, and it showed. You just can't afford to have nerves in show buisness.

I actually have a perfect ear (I can hear when someone is even slightly out of tune), and she does make mistakes.

I don't think she has the personality to make it big, either. But I don't doubt that she will sell a few albums before her 15 minutes of fame are over, and therefore, if she is wise, live fairly comfortably.

She came second Shirley, but in this mornings newspapers it seems Simon Cowell has her lined up for an £8 million future! Can't be bad for coming second can it? I won't even bother to tell you who won, just can't believe it and Simon Cowell certainly won't be able to sell records/cd's etc with them!!

WOW, I'm not talking Susan Boyle, or the fantasticly cool saxaphone player that came runner-up in last nights Britains got Talant final, but DIVERSITY. This group of friends and relations make up and perform their own 'street dance' routines that are just out of this world. my hat goes of to them in this time when youth gets so much bad press. they are a breath of fresh air. see them here-

I'm guessing the pole dancer from Oxford didn't win then Ron. I'm sure the Queen would have loved her.
