The Dial A Ride service offers a vital service in the Wyre Forest to the elderly and disabled. As a writer herself Sue decided to offer budding writers the chance to enter a writing competition to compose a short story with 1500 words on the theme "The Last Bus Home" to raise funds to help the Dial A Ride service to continue. There are prizes and the chance to have your work published. Ron has kindly given me permission to add a link to Sue's website where you can click on competitions and get details on how to enter! So hope everyone will give it a go!

All members who add links (some are acceptable, some are not) can help POE to maintain and better it's position in the search engines by reciprocating with a link back to POE, perhaps your sister will consider looking at this along with this thread acting as a reminder to all members.......quote a website, but see if you can get a reciprocal link back to POE. The suggested link details are as follows: Please help support this site by linking to usMethod 1 (text only link) Method 2 (use banner only or banner & text)
If you have any problems please do get in touch with website owners Chris and Sarah at uk2@picturesofengland.com Thanks in anticipation. |

I have put a link to this thread and a little bit about our wonderful site on the Facebook group for the writing competition. Think it would be a great idea to set up our own Facebook group for POE to get even more people interested. (it isn't my sister - it's her friend organising the competition). So the more people that link to POE from elsewhere, Facebook for example, the better it gets for us all in that the search engines will continue to give POE the prominent placing's that it currently enjoys, to stay on top of the game. Please do let us know if you are able to get a link back from a website members, but in any case thanks for trying. |
