IF things aren't cancelled here because of the rain right now... they are having an air balloon show, carnival, and night glow (if they have it) over in Tigard and the Zoo is having an extra special concert tongiht also. I think the stage is protected, but dont' know about the grass where the people have to be, unless they bring thier own chairs and umberellas. It feels like we have ben propelled back into "instant winter" again tonight. Well, what kinds of exciting things can you people think up to do? Don't tell me making low-sodium pickles either.... I'm getting " bored to the max" in ways.

Hey Gigglesnort"..come save us!!!

Hi Debbie!  Same here.  All the happenings in AZ this time of year are up north in the cool pines.  As for me, I think Friday is the night that I'm most wiped out.

The same to you, kiddo. I'm turning in shortly myself.  A lot of people like to sleep in on the weekend, but those are the days I WANT to get up early.  I'd really rather sleep in Mon-Fri.  lol

Well, I'm actually "cold" here right now. since I use to have to work all kinds of hours at times, I get to the point where all you have to do is lean me against something..such as an wall.. and I can sleep at times. We all wen tto bed early last night, Iistend to "coast to coast" most the evening. it helps me to relax. But town last night looked "dead" for some reason to me as to activity in general also.

We need something in this area to perk it up and what that would be is an good question.  We have an ton and half of food eateries of all kinds. Hardly any browsing stores though. Two big stores went out in a nearby shopping center making it look almost like an "ghost" of an shopping center. I think in one they should make an indoor "wave motion pool" for the community, (Burger King sets across from it) and the other some kind of store perhaps...or indoor Farmer's Market maybe. G. I. Joe's packed up and left one store empty. the other was an high end store and they moved out an long time ago.  It's close to the Max rail line, so it would make an good wave motion pools there. Nearly across from family services building  for the county also. Give the kiddies something to do while the parents shop.,,conduct their business. But  we'll see I guess.
