I once spent a fruitless afternoon in her back garden, and wasted a carton of Saxa salt, trying out her theory. My conclusion? Salt expended 500 grams. Seagulls reduced into captivity Nil. I post this to save any of you seagull hunters out there from wasting your time and salt!
