I was remembering last evening the day just before retirement when i was finishing my stint  in the corporate library. The  Librarian and i each had our own cubicle. Mine was in the corner. Hers was in front of mine and behind the circulation desk. That day i was especially appreciative of the privacy because i felt so sick. I finally realized that if i lossened my skirt i could sit for longer periods more comfortably. Fortunately the skirt i was wearing that day had a sipper in front and a one-button waistband.

That morning the librarian asked me to look at something on her computer. I junmped up and walked quickly from my cubicle toward hers. By the time i got to her doorway, my skirt lay on the floor around my ankles! We both gasped in surprise, then burst out laughing. I yanked up my skirt and surried back to my cubicle. Fortunately, no one else was in the library to witness my senior moment! Driving home i thought of these lines "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. And i said Amen to that. Have a great day.

Hi Barbara, Like it or not , perhaps earlier than we thought, senior moments hit us all, but it helps us laugh at ourselves. Blessings.
