I haven't taken the test as yet, but I know my "spirit" animal or totem as some call them is an "Eagle"..and true to form, I seem "lofty" to many others, most eagles' eat Salmon, I love it, most eagles, mate for life and have one chick, they are not know for an lot of chicks in the nest of their own...I did that also, eagles have the distintion of being able to look down and see the whole picture of what's going on around them, they are thought to be "visionary" and represent that aspect in life, (if your around me long enough you'll find that to be distrubingly true also) they need plenty of air/freedom to go places, and that's true of me also, they are predator birds, but not known to harm others more so then for their own survival most the time, otherwise they go their own way..I have an family of Eagles that have lived in this area for about 30 years now. As of the last couple years though, they seem to be slightly changing because of all the housing projects coming in taking their source of food from them, the nursery fields in the area where the food they eat comes from also. Your totem animal you know because your alike "Naturally" in how you live your lives. Most eagles have few predators to harm them, but they can none the less harm themselves..and I do that an lot also. BTW..Salmon has an high fat content, so yes, they like "fattening" foods. they are an symbol fo strength, and for the most part they have to be...as I'm learning through my lifetime.

Oh! Don't be insulted, Violet. I love elephants they are kind, gentle, majestic creatures. Here is a snippet from an animal totem book that you might enjoy:

An Elephant totem gives you
ancient wisdom and power to draw upon.
It embodies strength and power.
Elephant people show great affection to their families, caring for the young and the elderly.
They also have an inborn knowledge of roots and plants.
An Elephant will give you insight into the power of the three feminine energies:
child, mother and old wise woman (or crone).
The Hindu god Ganesh, god of overcoming obstacles, is associated with the Elephant.
