Slap on a nappy and a bib and you could be mistaken for the Gerber baby, Ron.

Ron, you could always wear that big over coat, the one with the deep inside pockets....simply just forget to pay for a couple of bottles in the pockets and hey presto, you'll be stopped alright.....

.....Just outside the doors by a couple of burley doormen! Laughing

Hey, yes that's me Diana.......young enough to get you girls turning your heads!!!

And Bab's you don't know the half of it. Anna bought something that the cashier failed to remove the tag on, the alarm went off and I kept on walking knowing full well all was paid for. However, the 'security guy' got the biggest shock when I told him to ............ah, no, I can't say that here!! He stood there with his mouth open!! Shoulder to shoulder eh Rick? 6 feet 1 and 21 plus stones.....hmmmmn, one law for the weak, one for the strong, but doesn't that just show you? And that was Asda!!

OMG Ron! I'd have died a death! You should have run dead fast and given the 'Rottweiller' some excercise! LOL!

The same thing did happen to me ages ago, JJB sports (no I wasn't purchasing a Chav uniform) and the girl forgot to take the tab off my trainers! I loved the faces on the people all hoping to see a shoplifter in action! LOL!

I bet you the reason it wasn't sold to you was because of the 15 year old...if you'd been an mother buying groceries with the wine, they most likley would of sold it to you...most clerks that rescenind to selling minors liquor are male though...though I know of one female fired for it, she said that it was hard to tell an hispanic if he was of age, and didn't want to start an ruckus, they are known for their nasty tempers and pulling knives on others, esp if they have been drinking prior also,  the state caught her, he was under age, she lost her job. I had an 18 year old "boss" one time at an retail store, we had to have someone sign an ticket to any packages taken out of the store at closing, Suppsedly the Person in charge did this, sealed the sack shut, with the receipt  and ticketed it, well she WAS the person in charge, she had the sack all sealed nicely and said, come over here an sign this for me..and I said, what' s in it, she said, just some grocery things I got, it's"OK", she says,...I looked at her... well an small bottle of wine and some food for my boyfriend  after we get out of here and she took off with the sack, I said, you get me in trouble I'm coming after ya! You ass is "Toast"!  But she had to of had someone in the grocery section buy the booze for her or else simply over-looked it. They are crafty these days. Teenagers are. We had to put up with this one on various occasions, "Crying" in the back room...one time because the main boss called in his right aide to work that night as the boss, which knocked her down to empoyee status, she had more seniority, and other time we had to listen to her "cry" because her parents were making her buy an newer used toyota for college that fall and she had worked at the store some time to saved up for an new car...bieng underaged they wouldn't co-sign for an new car. Other then stuff like this everyone "loved her"... just ask her,

She was 17, I think 18 year olds are allowed to buy wine now.  When we lived in Rockwood, my 15 year old brother asked me if I wanted an beer, I said, your not of age, he said, I'll be right back, went and bought an 6-pack. but he was an huge guy back then, height wise and general over all build. Small local mini-mart that has been since then busted time after time for it. Just another good reason to not drink though, except at restruants where it's "limited' at that. Who needs the calories these days. An clerks job is not easy, most of them get low wages, and this goes on thier employment records also for the next job they apply for...that's what makes it so bad...you think the customer cares?..No.

Did you know that ALL staff at this supermarket company are paid the same hourly rate (Other than the managers). Whether you are a cleaner, security officer, rackfiller, driver, storeman, rackfiller, trolley attendant, checkout operator or office staff.

However due to British basic wage rules and regulations (thank God!), Asda employees are payed at a higher hourly rate than those employed by their parent company (Walmart) in the States.
