Woman kills her 3 week old infant...

Before you read this article, this is a particularly gruesome and disturbing story. I just can't imagine what happens to people like this. Do you think they have souls or are they just reckoned as one of the wild animals of the realm?

I can't read the article. I cannot understand why this happens. What goes on in a persons mind to make them do such awful things. We may never know.

I heard about this on the news, and can only imagine that she was under the influence of some kind of drug. OK, I just read the article, which was WAY more explicit than what we had been told on the news.

Hopefully the poor little child died instantly. As for the mother, she should never see freedom again, no matter what her state of mind. I also know that unless she is kept in seclusion, her chances of living through a prison sentence will not be good, as her fellow inmates will take it upon themselves to punish her.

It's hard to feel any empathy for her, but I have to try.

Part of this 'non human's' prison sentence should inclued forced sterilization. This is one sick puppy which should really be put out of 'it's' misery!

I am sure that it will come back as post-partum depression, she was abused as a child, the laundry list goes on of excuses.  No I don't think that they have souls, heart or a mind.  How could anyone live with themselves after doing this, I know that there are people who have sick minds, and may lose control, but at some point they have to have a lucid moment when it becomes reality.  I just can''t grasp and comprehend such horrific acts from a human.

 I did not have an easy life growing up, I am just glad that it made me stronger, instead of insane.
