What is wrong with people?! Yell What makes it more ironic is that the officer was part of the K-9 unit (although the dog he starved was his personal pet and not part of the force).

What a SOB!!!!  First of all why would a vet put two dogs down just for seperation anxiety...becasue they are going on vacation??? And secondly, if you dog is suffering and not eating and the vet does nil...then find another vet!!

How could this guy actually work with K-9's????? Don't the check the mental health of police officers before they are hired???

What the heck is going on in this world anymore???

Why are people so stupid? You would think that a police officer who works with dogs would know better than to leave his animals in a locked up car on a blazing hot day. Yell

Wow, they really need to throw the book at this guy.  The dog starved to death.  That doesn't happen over night.  It's pure neglect and cruelty.  He should be dismissed from the force and do a few years.  What he did was even worse than what Michael Vick did in my book.

I agree with you Ruth. Not that I give a rats a** for Michael Vick either, but you're right. What this officer did was unconscionable. How can you live with yourself knowing that a few feet away from you an animal, your pet, is starving to death? How can you listen to his cries and his barking, knowing that you are killing him? I can't even imagine. The thought of it makes me want to staple bologna to the b****** head and throw him into a den of hungry wolves.

Staple bologna to his head and throw him to hungry wolves? Diana, I will remember never to upset you and ask that if I have in the past, that you have mercy upon me (Says he, backing away slowly, avoiding eye-contact, provocative words and body language, and smiling  nervously Sealed)

Lol. As long as you are kind to little children and animals and don't do anything "unnatural" to them you have nothing to fear from me Ray. WinkLaughing

I swear Diana, anyone who knows me knows how kind I am to animals......and children....and even grown ups. I once accidently knocked a rabbit over whilst driving a police car on patrol at night. I took it home, it made a full recovery, I deflea'd it, fed it on gourmet food, groomed it, and it used to sit on my lap. I eventually let it go. As it hopped away across a field some two weeks later, it stopped at the brow of the hill, looked back at me, and I swear it waved.

It also liked the music from 'Watership Down'
