The dust hasn't even settled and the banks are announcing huge profits again. Barclays have made some £3 billion in six months and say it's less than they expected, cheeky b......s!! Other banks, those owned by us the taxpayer, are due to announce similar profits it seems. What a b....y disgrace!!! We are being hit for six from all directions with bank charges just following on in the same old way. Letters, unauthorized overdrafts, cheques bounced, direct debits, standing orders unable to be collected and they hit you with a charge from £12 to £25 per item. Interest on credit cards hiked like never before!! It's about time the whole system of banking was changed, but how? I guess this is the reason they trample all over us, because there is no other way unless we turn to a communist way of life!!! Also, it seems the huge bonus's are still being paid to the bank staff so what chance have we got, doesn't it make you sick? |
