I saw a kingfisher yesterday evening! We went for a walk in Haden Hill park and the kingfisher flew past us by the brook in Corngreaves Nature Reserve. I had my camera but he was going too fast!!!

Well, I'll never eat chips again. Thanks Ron, you a great diet aid.

Talking about diet aids, the weight continues to go down, slow but sure. So for me, that's really good news.

I sat down and talked with my neighbor up the street last night, she ususally walks in the cool evening, one of the original owners of the housing project land here. and I gave her two huge tomatoes from my garden, she seened so pleased beyond words. I asked her if she had an garden this year and she said "NO", most likely because no one will help her have one and she's up in age now. I said, you reember the old "home grown" garden taste of tomatoes, and she said, "OH YES!...I said, well they got them this year...enjoy! My g-daughter is up the street and stayed over night with her friend Sidney. Daughter in-law's folks are here.

I had no chance Debbie - and would need a bigger lens even if he had stopped still!

Bet you were glad to get rid of that Ron!

Well done Sue with your weight - mine is creeping up again - school holidays it always does!

I saw a young hedgehog in my garden too - and i did get a picture of him which I have put on. Nature always has a way of cheering us up!
