Nice to see a live hedgehog for a change instead of a flat one on the road.

I smelled autumn in the air the last couple of days, we ussually have that and then it changes back for an couple of weeks then goes into full blown "new" season. My daughter in-law takes my g-daughter in to get her locker an books this year and see about her saxaphone. 2010 Farmer's almanac is out now also.

Shirley - Terry said he could see the trees starting to turn yesterday - we haven't had summer here yet and it's turning autumn already!

I agree Peter - just hope he won't be crossing over the dual carriageway to visit Merry Hell! Here he is -

Hedgehog in my garden!

I've never seen a live hedgehog outside the zoo!  I don't think we have them around here!  If we do, I've just never come across one.  We have tons of possums (no one says "o'possum, not in this part of the world), and they just can't seem to make it across the road, but apparently try many times each night.  And of course, raccoons (but if you're a hunter, it's a "coon")

You do have to watch out for deer, we have so many car/deer accidents (white tail deer), it's very scary driving through the country.

I have something good to share (well, good for me).

My stand in job (I call it my part time, part time job) as a medical assistant at the podiatrist just became permanent. So now I will be working every Wednesday instead of going in when they need me  .
