I know how you feel about the voice on radio - I've been on local radio on two separate occasions and I cringed at my accent! Terry sounded really cool - that's why he was picked as Voice of Dudley! |

I feel like I'm on an much needed vacation of an sorts. Looks like Hurricane Bill passed you by bob...and glad of it, Babs will most likley fly over it if it's not already gone. Krissy, 7 whole years...my gosh!, Shall we fill her in with the latest equiptment people? Like the ice cream makers, automatic coffee makers, I pods and stero equiptment in an palm of your hand, full scale portable kitchens, warm air blown boot driers, the GPS in grand glory?..heh? Where you at these days Bob? |

I wonder if he'll come back in as "earthboppin" or not. Yesterday he left us all messages in every board to take the information and links NOW! I hope to meet Judy here pretty soon, as she lives up by my sister in-law...but she's got this thingy going on that sounds right up my alley way for "camping"...Take an soup pan/kettle full of water, add unopened cans of Sweetened Condensed milk..make sure the water is over the top of the cans at all times, Boil for 3 hours. Turn off heat and cool. Put into an bowl for the most delicious fruit dip that tastes like "Caramel" around..and it's so EASY! I haven't tried it as of yet, any of you ever heard of doing this? It sounds like an good camping thingy to do though if it comes out as said. Esp for the little kids. I was rather looking over the different camper-car renovations here lately that I think "Paul" posted. Steph, the voice of Dudley would like my five room tent, one room potty/dressing room and wash-up, one room table/chairs...eating or playing games and, one room for storage of backpacks,etc..(golf clubs are "etc" 's arent' they?) and two rooms made into one for an office by the door in front of it the Queen sized bed, with trunk (clothes) at the foot of the bed and small plastic stacking drawer "center" for all the necessities and small TV set if needed. outisde by the door is the Propane BBQ. and garbage can...across from it our guest room quarters, above the canopy..which it all matches my big tent. EVERYTHING..including "etc".... is on rollers. |

When you get to the camp site, take the coffee, place in pan and add one more same sized container of water, and an splash of vanilla and set it on the BBQ, with an lid...place your coffee pot near by....roll up the sack you bought the groceries in like an bowl and place fruit in it...take out rolls, leave in container, but place both at the foot of the bed or on the office table...which also hold your latern for your tent to one side. In the morning, warm up the coffee you bought, and start an fresh pot. Then push the rolls and fresh fruit near the top edge of the bed and eat while in comfort, and place coffee cups with warm coffee like-wise...I know...it's dastardly gals, but WE can do this. Let your hubby take the first portable shower of the day, so all the kinks are worked out by the time you arrive. You might be able to sleep in if he takes "etc" out for an walk. In which case, breakfast is served later, eggs and pancakes and sausage...and fresh coffee. Leave the playing cards on thetable, better yet have another table outside. Your day has started. If you have kids do likewise bu tleave on cooler in tehir tent next to yours fro drinks, they can have chocolate milk the next moring with donuts and fruit. and they like Orange juice fo snack or breakfast also. Always amke sure there's at least one teenager older then the kids in the tent with them and at least two huge dogs. Enjoy roughing it!!!! |

Bill has not passed yet, Shirley. However, I have made preparations for the hit. However, I don't think it will affect my area too bad. Right now, I'm sitting at home. Cheers, Bob |

Nothing is the same any more....even hurricanes, not sure if that's good or bad, perhaps good in this case. You went, conquered.... and came home?.... they showed an boat in the newspaper the other day that was fighting such huge swells out in the ocean, don't think I'd want to be there in ways. It was closer to Alaska though. Now "Han's" little toy is nice, we use to be with him every year in the Christmas Ship Parade on the river here in Portland. Huge enclosed deck, two bedroom and bath, two areas to pilot the boat from, essentially it was three story...or do you call them ships when they get into the 50 foot size or beyond. An trucker, with an divorced dad, daddy got them the apartment, and he got the boat, he said it took some to talking his dad to go in half with him...but he was only 18 years old at the time. When he wasn't on the boat, he was trucking down the highway pretty much. After the Christmas parade yearly, an bunch of them took off for down south around the Carribean and Florida going from the West Coast through the Panama Canal. I wonder if he's doing it now, as there's been talk of pirating down in some areas south of us. Danergous waters out there these days. We use to go through the islands near Jantzen beach and people would come out of their houses with friends and cocktails on the boardwalks and we'd wish each other an Merry Christmas as the boat went through their manuvers of turning around and doing whirlies..and off the other way. Most freindliest people I had ever ran into...had an really good evening doing that. Had to give it up as the grandkids were to small, he had no little ones aboard. If I let my kids enjoy the evening, someone had to stay with the grandkids that night, last year kind of was bad weather if I remember rightly, they had to be postponed several times, maybe this year will be better..let's hope so! My hubby had his week of "boating" wth the Scouts as was planned. he said that the Lake near Beaver Bay had over 155 foot depths...that' s deep for these parts...south side of Mt. St. Helens on the Lewis River. Well, it looks to me like "Babs" defienatley has the tents. Tent Vilalge..USA? |
