It has been a good day.

I spent the morning helping to clean the house of a lady who just had serious back surgery, and it's always a good feeling to know you can be of help.

It's a hot one here, too; getting up to the 100's again.

I came in here an bit biffed at my son's comment to me always being on the computer...he is never up to see me at the wee hours of the morning cleaning house for the most part...or cooking as I'm on it, right now I'm making cinnamon rolls. Everyone put me in such an good mood seeing your pictures and talking about what your doing...I'm forgetting to be "ticked off".  I'm cleaning now to start dragging out the autumn decorations, they start out with Scarecrows, then Holloween stuff gets added, then down comes the Holloween stuff and up goes the Pirlgrim/Native American figurines. the deocrative Thanksgiving Cookbooks also. I was up almost the better part of the night moving furniture around. I still today froze a couple quarts of blackberries, cleaned off  the inumerous small pockets of stacked up "whatever" all over this house. Defned and streamlined.I wonder if I should practice an "How ya doin PIlgrim?"..John Wayne style? Made some Strawberry lemoaide earlier..coming over news that Micheal Jackson's doctor is accused of Homincide. they did it to my dad also, while I had to watch  being just his daughter, not his wife..we talked considerably aboutit the Friday beforehand, and I knew he was dying..I dragged my hubby down there to talk him out of giving in to them, and he turned the cart on me,...his last words to me, was someday they will ask you to take drugs..don't do it...they will never let you get off them safely ever again. I found out afterwards they had mixed prozac with him and another drug...it's why he keeled over dead as he was standing, it jsut took the time to "mix:..but it's my word against their's...and he had signed papers to "let him go" if things didn't work out right. It amazes me how easily they are to give out powerful body altering drugs, and yet refuse things like penacillin...to kill bacteria...esp with the ecoli and samonella these days. This bespeaks of something else, in Jacksons' case, just how much "torture" an person can go through for the entertainment industry. Imagine how his children must feel. All an person can say in the aftermath, is there is no more suffering perhaps. Well, I just finsished frosting the cinnamon rolls, and I did the backberries earlier, just an very light touch of sugar so they taste more natural then sugared, froze two quarts besides the bowl I have....so I guess we got us some goodies to eat for breakfast perhaps...while everyone is on the run.

Common Ron, you know you'd like to be beighbuours again. You could come over and visit, I have air conditioning.

It's going to be up in the high 90's all week here, but the mornings are definitely cooler when I walk (5 AM), so summer is definitely winding down.

Hope you all are having a grand day.

Hi Sue!

I'm really looking forward to summer fading out! I love the change of the seasons! And really happy to be wearing jeans and sweaters and boots again! Tired of my summer wardrobe!

I adore the autumn, but even I am not ready for it yet. We were still wearing light jackets in June! Oh well. The seasons come whether we are ready for them or not. I do love the fall and will enjoy it when it gets here.
