Too much internet, too much TV, too many gadgets, too much noise!! TV, music and even books seem to be too much lately! I find myself turning everything OFF!! The only things I am interested in is POE of course and seeing if I get any emails! I'm down to watching only two of my favorite TV shows and music is just too loud lately! I'm listening to classical and old standards now! Even Erin agrees with me! She's loving the old songs! Is it stress or just too much on our plates? I need life to slow down! Do you feel the same ever? |

For several years I had no TV at all, and to be honest, when I didn't have it I didn't miss it. Now I have the TV set to record my favorite shows and I get to them when I want. At least I don't feel like a slave to the thing anymore. lol. Some times I don't even want music on. I just want quiet. |

I want so much to be able to stop commuting to DC to work and living in a congested area. I want to live in a modest but comfortable house (cottage) in the country with shade trees, grass, birds singing, butterflies flitting about, and no noisy traffic or boom boxes! My music of choice is also classical, and I Tivo only my favorite TV shows (more often than not British fare). I also love to just sit and enjoy the sound of quiet. |

Mankind has bitten off more than he can chew!! I would love nothing more to have the cozy cottage, with a veg garden, cook from scratch, and just enjoy each others company. My Sam was on the computer the entire night last night and I was thinking these kids won't know how to construct a proper sentence, spell, or articulate anything!! The days of playing outside and getting excercise seem to be gone! It's only Wii Fit to the rescue!! Kids will be stooped over from sitting for 15 hours a day!! LOL!!! time for a change I think! My kids won't know what hit them....although Erin did warn me about being on the PC too much!! LOL!! Love that kid!! Edited by: Krissy at:26th August 2009 14:22 |

Now lets all live in a compound as one big happy POE family! We can all visit each other like the old days...and work on our farms together instead of farming on Facebook!! LOL! |
