Very populated beaches this time of year and especially this weekend. And it's not the first time. I think the enviorment and conservation should be at the top of everyone's list especially the government. Everything is going to waste these days. |

It's all coming straight from the toilets according to Panorama programme. Where are the environmentalists now? Disgraceful! |

The lake I was at today had trash all over the beach and in the water!! It's a beautiful place and they give you a large trash bag to use but come on!!! What is so hard about being responsible?? Here though..the problem is bears. Where there is trash, there are bears. |

At my moms house which is in Pennsylvania and right in the Pocono Mountian region she has a big bear problem! They come right up to the door! No lie! The neighbors keep watch for them and make calls to warn the others! She also has a koi pond which the bears love to get into! At the lake there are posters all over on how to avoid being attacked. Makes me wonder if I should take my little one hiking there. |

I never go near anywhere with pipes leading into the sea near the beach! It makes me really sad to see the litter everywhere. The beaches we visit are usually super clean - especally Newgale - can't see a speck of rubbish there. I did notice that Marazion beach was not as clean as it usually is this year. Saw the litter collector but he just kept missing big pieces of obvious litter - should have gone to specsavers! Living opposite Merry Hill I find lots of litter blows into my garden - and having a path by the side all sorts of things get thrown over - we had needles over the once - I was so horrified as Aaron found them and luckily had the good sense not to pick them up.

How big are these bears anyhow? Are they sort of shoo, go away nasty bear or OMG I'm outta here!! Why not have your own back on them, tell them you'll use them as a family room carpet if they don't go away!!

A big thank you to them When I visited Lanarote, the roads and beaches were spotless. When the unemployed went in to the town hall for thier unemployment money, they were givent brooms, shovels and bags to clean up the beaches and roads. If they did not do it, they received no benefits. The sick were not expected to do this work. What a great idea. The iseland was the cleanest place I have ever seen. It would not happen here because the unions would put a stop to it,but at least it would be a way to help pay for the unemployed as well as keeping our beaches and streets clean.
