Amazing to hear just how many parents DO give their kids drugs to get them to sleep and not necessarily alcohol. One mother apparently crushed antidepressants and administered them with a bottle of milk! This is outrageous and tantamount to murder surely? |

From what I have observed the "instant gratification" syndrome that plagues our world today is carried over into our relationships. Many people have less tolerance for parenting and it shows by the various ways they devise to keep their children quiet, and out of their way. From using the T.V. as a babysitter to giving the kids drugs and alcohol to put them to sleep at night. I don't know if it's a general lack of caring or if people just don't know "how" to be parents. Perhaps a little of both? |

What was I thinking? What some parents will do to get their children to sleep at night! |
